Great for learning how to play

I just start using this app so far it is fun.I use Justin Guitar website too.but this app is more fun and active

They nailed the learning technique for Guitar.. its fun and we get to play in sync with the drummer right from day one.

Great app i will be coming back again and again to practice guitar this app is very motivational and the exercises really encourage the muscle memory memorization required to play guitar, bringing out ability I didnt previously know I possess

As someone who was struggling to pick guitar back up, this app has been very handy. Its simple yet has a nice easy flow to it that makes it enjoyable. Also I recommend buying the add ons, theyre cheap and worth it if you want to get better. If you want anything in return you have to invest!

Ive struggled with a couple teachers and with trying to learn on my own. I like the self pacing of this app and the backing tracks it provides while I try and learn. Going good so far!

It has helped me immensely with learning chords and strumming patterns. It can move a little fast at times and be somewhat intimidating to a newbie but its all good practice. Ive learned a lot from using this app.

Easy to use and a great way to learn chords and strumming.

I use it everyday but the track volumes are really LOW on certain tracks that you barely can hear it playing with the track, I have to put on ear phones to hear & play at the same time. Even then it doesnt pick up when I play the chords, some day this app pick up the chord if it fell like it smh, its very irritating when youre playing the right chords & fingering it still says youre playing wrong UGH..I would give it 5 stars but until they fix the track volume Ill have to give it 4 stars.

I believe this app is rather valuable for me, considering Im a first time player of the electric Acoustic guitar. Its very helpful and I advise others in the beginner stage to utilize the app, as much as I do.

I love the exercises in the app, but it did not do a good job of explaining that the phone needs to be on my leg next to the guitar for good results. Even just 1 1/2 feet away was enough for the program to not recognize a good strum pattern. Also, the app does not explain about substituting fingers to make switching between chords easier.

I just started it and wouldnt pick up my guitar sound for 2 inches away. And the tuner doesnt change at all

No, I cruelly refuse. I love it. The app is amazing and has only crashed once when I closed the app and reopened it.

Just started playing the guitar a few weeks ago and I can tell you right now that this app has definitely done some magic.

I love how it provides enough free content to give a user, even new beginners, a taste of early success. The backing tracks to the chords on the first lessons (Nothing Else Matters and Aint No Sunshine) are simple but complete enough for a user to play along with confidently. Very well thought out app!

Nice app. Need one like this for mandolin, too.

I have used this app and a few others for a while now and I must say the lesson flow is very nice, I enjoy how it takes me from the shapes to practicing them a few times alongside some different chords to strumming and speeding up the tempo. Keep the updates coming, youre doing a great job UC and thats why I keep using the app for my acoustic guitar needs.
